Our Mission

Our mission is to democratize child education by making it easy for parents who choose to educate their children at home, creating the world’s best support ecosystem around them.

Our Vision

We see a world where learning is continuous, uninterrupted, and in harmony with one’s day-to-day life and values.
Core Beliefs
We believe education delivered in this way not only informs the child of the past and the present, but also adequately prepares the child for the future.
We believe every child deserves the right to receive the right education at the right time by the right instructor and delivered in a way that just works for that child.

We believe education delivered in this way not only informs the child of the past and the present, but adequately prepares the child for the future.

We believe education begins in the home and as such, parents are more often than not better placed to instruct and educate their children - if given the right resources.

As a result, we are making it easy for parents who choose to homeschool their children to find all the resources they need - from content to community - to enable them to provide the quality education that adequately prepares their children for a future that is fulfilling.

Core Values
Everything we do is guided by our 5 core values:

  • Safety - if it’s not safe for the children, it does not get to exist at Homie. We take safety seriously and create guardrails to keep the good in and the bad out.

  • Exploration - at Homie, we do not only embrace childlike curiosity, but we build for it. We believe the world is our school, and we stay learning always.

  • Generosity - we want to give more than we expect to get back, and there’s nowhere better to plant those seeds than in the lives of our children.
  • Intentionality - being purposeful in our thoughts, feelings and actions is the only way we can guarantee the future we desire. We are purposeful in our love. Purposeful with everything we build. Because it is indeed bigger than us.

  • Connectedness - we accept that even though others will not look like us, think or act like us, we are all equally important in our own way and have something to offer. As such, we continuously create ways to connect and make space for everyone at the table. At Homie, we’re all family.
